"After many years of waiting to open up our porch of our 1917 home, we hired Laursen Construction to do the job in the fall of 2014.  We had made an inquiry of Bill Laursen and he presented his proposal with the utmost professionalism.  Laursen Construction gave us a detailed estimate of the work to be performed and the cost, as well as time to complete, just as we had discussed.  He also alerted us to the fact that due to the age of the home that we may find some unexpected issues and at that point we would be able to discuss the options available. Bill and his staff showed up each day and completed the project within the timetable discussed.  At the end of each day, all tools and equipment were put away and the site was kept clean and free of debris.  We were kept up to date on everything that was happening with our project. They were wonderful to work with and answered any questions that we had freely. In the end, the job was in budget, the work performed as agreed upon and in the time we were told and our plants surrounding the site were even replaced and filled in with mulch. Time and care was taken to perform this job and it shows - the porch looks beautiful!
